David Mosinski | Life Lessons and Lost Wars  

 

Enlightening accounts from a US Army soldier covering an unusual range of assignments, training events, operations, military intelligence work, and engagements with America’s allies over a span of five decades.  Readers may well be surprised by revelations of certain underlying factors behind the success or failure of US military operations in Bosnia, Iraq, Afghanistan, Haiti, and Liberia.  Episodes offer various life lessons – applicable to soldiers and non-soldiers alike – and emphasize the good moral code.

Col. David MoskinskiCol. David Mosinski is a graduate of the US Military Academy / West Point.  He holds a Master of Military Art and Science degree from the US Army Command and General Staff College.  He was an Olmsted Scholar at the University of Zurich, Switzerland.  He fulfilled a career of service as a US Army officer, attaining the rank of Colonel.  His assignments included Senior Intelligence Officer for US Army Japan, Army ROTC Department Chair and Professor of Military Science at the University of Notre Dame, and Battalion Commander of the 319th Military Intelligence Battalion.  Subsequently working as a Department of the Army Civilian (DAC) analyst, he was the lead author of 32 publications, as well as numerous lesson reports and organizational studies.
