Announcing A New Date: March 22, 2025
The DSM Book Festival connects people who love books with people who create them. The festival features nationally acclaimed authors, book club-style discussions led by featured commentators, lively panel discussions, hands-on activities, children’s programming, and more.
Beaverdale Books is excited to present the DSM Book Festival at Franklin Junior High Event Center on Saturday, March 22, 2025!
As we look ahead, we are aware it’s a big undertaking, but we believe we are up to the task. We are committed to delivering the fun-filled festival, dedicated to books and booklovers, that our community has come to expect. After careful consideration, we have decided to switch back to a spring schedule for the next DSM Book Festival. We are still hard at work planning and want to ensure that we produce the exciting, high-quality event you have come to expect.
Switching to this new date allows us the time to do much-needed fundraising, connect with publishers to bring in an impressive slate of featured authors, coordinate with the Des Moines Public Library’s AViD Author Series, plus it gives us a bit of breathing room for all the outstanding events we are planning this fall.
Stay tuned for further information as we gear up for a fantastic fall, a happy holiday season, and a spectacular spring–all filled with great books and authors.
