Restoring Hope: The Honorable Colin J. Witt Memorial Foundation

Inspired by the generosity of a global movement, Beaverdale Books is proud to offer Giving Sundays during the month of November.  Beaverdale Books will donate 20% of the day’s sales. Representatives will greet customers from 1:00 – 3:00 p.m.

Restoring Hope: The Honorable Colin J. Witt Memorial Foundation is about helping youth in need understand their worth and value to our community and the world. The foundation is created in honor of Colin Witt, who as a juvenile judge made it his life’s work to help kids see their possibilities and how one mistake, or many, doesn’t have to define their future. Colin believed that reading, art, and mentorship are powerful tools that can help kids discover who they are and guide them on a path to who they want to become.  Restoring Hope provides youth involved in the juvenile and family court systems access to these resources and other opportunities—to reinforce that their community cares about them and believes they are more than the worst thing they’ve ever done.
