Nancy Vallar | Sacred Seasons: Devotions for Life Seasons
@ Beaverdale Books
Get ready to be encouraged and filled with hope. This unique devotional combines heartfelt and authentic storytelling of trials and tribulations followed by poetry, written to remind us of God’s everlasting presence through our journeys in life.
“Our seasons of life are all sacred; some are painful, and others are filled with joy and gratitude, but they’re all connected to God. It is my hope that beloved readers will glean truths that will set them free in a way they’ve never experienced through this devotional.”
About the Author
Nancy Vallar resides in Des Moines, IA, and holds a B.S. in Human Relations from Rockford University with SPHR certification. She wrote her first book, Suffering, The Treasures We Find, after being inspired to share her stories of triumph and closeness with God, hoping it may help others struggling. Nancy has had many challenges, beginning in childhood and continuing into
adulthood. Some of those hardships were extreme, like facing death four times. She’s an avid public speaker, presenting within various ministries and through Celebrate Recovery, a Christ-centered, 12-step recovery program for anyone struggling with hurt, hang-ups, and habits of any kind. Upon retiring from her career in Human Resources, she was inspired to write her second book, a devotional called Sacred Seasons, which went on pre-sale in August 2023.
More Praise for Sacred Seasons
“Nancy has written a beautiful devotional with stories and scripture to comfort your soul, to reflect on things from a sacred space. Nancy has divided her devotional by topics. Some of the topics are peace, control, acceptance, sacrifice, isolation, gods armor, and blessings under trial. All of these are relevant for a time such as this! This book would make a great gift for the special people in your life and for the special person that is you! As always (Nancy) you continue to be a blessing to many!”
