Iowa Trouble is a memoir of political violence across Iowa, including horror stories from punk-subculture to Iowa gangsters and the politics of the Iowa Caucus.

About the Author

As a lifelong Iowan, Tyer Granger wanted to share his life journey in his new book, Iowa Trouble.   In 2020, he was inspired to write the book for his daughter, so she would have a book about her father and her family’s history. Granger’s memoir includes “stories ranging from football to Warped Tour to working for the Obama campaign.”  He has a degree in political science from Northwestern College and has worked on a variety of political campaigns and non-profits across Iowa.
